About Attorney Craig Bernstein
Craig Bernstein was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on October 20, 1954, obtained a B.S. from Washington University in Saint Louis in 1977 and a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1980.
Mr. Bernstein was licensed to practice law in Texas in 1980 and in addition to all Texas state courts, is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Texas.
Mr. Bernstein has successfully tried over 100 lawsuits some of which resulted in favorable judgments in excess of One Million Dollars. He regularly speaks on civil litigation matters at the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas. While in law school, Mr. Bernstein interned with a United States District Judge.
Some of Mr. Bernstein’s recent accomplishments include:
- Obtaining a $4 million settlement for a Houston-based flooring distributor in a case involving misappropriation of trade secrets and breach of fiduciary duty;
- Successfully enforcing a non-competition agreement on behalf of a multi-family flooring distributor against a former salesperson;
- Obtaining a $700,000 jury verdict for a construction client against a property owner;
- Obtaining the rescission of a contract for the purchase of a consumer recreational vehicle which resulted in all indebtedness being extinguished.
About Pat Davis:
Mr. Davis is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law. He was licensed to practice law by the Texas Supreme Court in September, 1965 and has been engaged in the practice of law since that time, concentrating in commercial and business litigation, both trial and appeals.
He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in such litigation. He is admitted to practice before all state courts in Texas, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas and the United States Court of Appeal for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits.
In connection with his practice, Mr. Davis has been involved in numerous trials, appeals, mediations and arbitrations during his career.
About Janis Johnson:
Janis Johnson graduated from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas where she was a member of the South Texas Law Review and the State Bar of Texas Corporate Counsel Review.
Ms. Johnson has been licensed to practice law in the State of Texas by the Texas Supreme Court since 1989. Ms. Johnson’s practice is concentrated in business and commercial litigation representing both plaintiffs and defendants.
She is admitted to practice before all Texas state courts, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Western and Southern Districts of Texas and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
